My name is Gabriela, but most people call me Gabi! I am a proud Mexican-American and Queer woman, and am passionate about representation and telling marginalized stories. I’m a friendly, intelligent, kind, and outgoing person who loves to read books, drink tea, and listen to music. My ideal day would consist of playing my guitar, crocheting, and spending time with my loved ones.

I’m about to graduate in May of 2026 from Texas Christian University. I will be graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, a minor in Educational Studies, and I will be honored as an Honors Laureate with the John V. Roach Honors College. If you can’t tell, I love school! I am a lifelong learner of all subjects, and I look forward to returning to higher education at some point later on in my life.

I grew up studying ballet and fell in love with the expressiveness and beauty of the arts. After singing in choir and acting in elementary school plays, I caught the musical theatre bug! I’ve dedicated my life to pursuing the arts, and have also found a passion for choreography, hair/makeup design, and bilingual theatre education.

I’m a very passionate person and I go in 100% on the things I care about. Whether it’s learning everything there is to know about an Avett Brothers album, nerding out about my most recent read, listening to D&D podcasts before I play, or having an Abraham Lincoln-themed 7th birthday party, I go all in on what I love.
